There has to be photoshopped, I see both red tail lights and a stock exhaust. I’m pretty sure there’s a law out there where you have to black out your tail lights and put an obnoxious exhaust on the G35.

If you don’t mind being stereotyped it’s a fine purchase, but you’re probably used to that considering you drove a BMW previously. I’ve rarely encountered a G35/G37 driver that wasn't a raging douchenozzle, but hopefully you can counter that trend...

He must be breaking the law then.
In all seriousness, I’ve heard good things about them when you leave them alone.

I just wanna drive to and from work. Oh I know the the stereotype.... Braaahhh brahhhh brahhh everyone is trying to race me! Just as long as they are good runners I’m happy... the BMW was.... a BMW... American Express is my best friend because of that car...

I mean, the answer kind of depends on whether , when driving the Bimmer, you ever thought to yourself “you know, that turn signal stereotype is nice, but I really wish I drove something that was universally accepted as a sign of a reckless asshole.”

Amex’s roadside assistance is bomb and you get a star for recognizing that.

I know it’s available to US card holders traveling in Canada, I’m not sure about Canadian card holders, though

“Unm odified 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe: 6 speed manual, 1 owner since new”
Hahahahahaha that’s not real

Do it, unmolested cars like that don’t come along often and my friends 197k 2nd engine 2004 that was dying was fun. If that was fun I’m sure a nice one would be, but also I wouldn’t expect maintenance ona 15 year old Infiniti to be any better than an older bmw

I’ve seen their only big issue is the cam sensor and it’s 150 bucks to fix...other than that it’s easy sailing

I think police in bad neighborhoods everywhere are tuned to the sound of a VQ just waiting for one of these to come through at 1mph over the limit so they can pull it over.
You’ll need to take the G35/37 questionnaire. If you can answer more than 50% of these as “yes”, then it’s the right car for you:
D o you want everyone asking you if you have weed?
Have you ever woke up and thought: “ window tint laws are written by people who want to watch my bae and I get nasty in the car”?
Do you wear t-shirts to church because the rest of your clothes smell like weed ?
Does your mother constantly refer to you as “a good boy” despite what your police record would say?
You come across a curvy road, do you ignore the double yellow and cut all the corners for max speed?
You’re driving spiritedly, do you pass on a double yellow around a corner?
Do you often pass your time hanging out in the Target parking lot?

3 days into having my ST, a G35 coupe tried to race me.

They’re fun, well appointed, and largely reliable afaik. My mom had an ‘ 03 G35 which she bought new and had it until she died in ‘1 6. N ever a major problem. She considered trading it in for an awd model of the same, but decided against it because the car was paid for, dead reliable, and worth basically nothing.
I own an ‘03 FX45 and it too has been 100% reliable. I’ve never had the acoustic cover off of the engine. Compared to my 740, which required constant attention and cash to keep drivable. I haven’t driven the bimmer in over 2 years, maybe 3, and still have the last 7 of the vin committed to memory because I had to reference it so often. I’ll remember that string of characters until the day I die.
Nothing wrong with Infiniti imho. Datsun has always treated my family well.

That’s good news and sad news in the same comment. Sorry about her passing. I lost my father about 10 years ago myself.

As off topic as this is....the memories when you just...smirk or smile when something reminds you of them.
